What am I doing right now? A lifestream of photos, food, and other adventures.

This picture makes me laugh — I guess that's how the cookie crumbles.

Feeling inspired by this advice from @MarissaMayer

"Work with the smartest people you can find, do something you're not ready to do, find an environment in which you're very comfortable so you can find your voice, and work for someone who believes in you -- because when they believe in you, they'll invest in you."

After reading about oysters today, I couldn't resist a dozen of these 75 cent gems

75 cents a piece at Zuppa, can you believe it? And it's all too conveniently located on my daily walk to and from the train. How could I say no?

The happy hour pizza, which is $10 from 5-7, is also delicious. Fresh, thin, and chewy.

Beautiful day for a dinner on the Bay!

This was actually Friday evening, but my phone app didn't upload it until now. A great way to kick off the holiday weekend!

Celebrated July 4 with a hearty breakfast at home today

All vegetarian, incidentally.

Last night, I saw Casablanca for the first time. And now I am off to Chinatown to buy some rice bowls. Not bad ways to observe America's birthday, eh? [Insert some Casablanca cliche as kicker.]

Fascinating concept: Organizing books by color

via simplystated.realsimple.com

This Real Simple writer shares an interesting personal decision to organize her books by color. She says it's because she's a visual person.

I thought about how I tend to arrange my books. Size typically plays a dominant part—and then also genre. I often have a space for some of my favorite reads, too.

How do you organize your shelves?
