It's pretty cool that this chain restaurant serves its drinks in jars (though why not the beer?). I have to say, though, the ranch plus barbecue sauce is a too much. I asked for my dressing on the side, and they showed up with extra ranch on the side! Wowie. Popular American cuisine FTL.
So maybe it's a bit creepy. I was high on Christmas cheer, OK?
I asked the owner where the chef was from. The owner gave me a quizzical look. "This is American Chinese food!!"
Above you will see four spice soup noodle. It was alrighty, a bit low on the flavor scale, leading me to think that it was powder mixed with water.
I can't really recommend this place if you're looking for Chinese food, and I think the owner would agree. But if you're hungry for orange chicken, egg foo young, kung pao chicken, and the like, you will probably enjoy this restaurant.
Here's a gem in Port Hueneme: a tasty and authentic Pho restaurant! And at $6.50 a bowl, it's hard to go wrong. Service is quick and super polite (even when I accidentally spilled water all over the table reaching for the Siracha...whoops), and there are a handful of vegetarian options. I highly recommend this place!
