Rosslyn halal food cart!!!

Ever since I left New York last week, I've been craving one last shot at chicken and lamb over rice. So I was thrilled when I discovered that there is a new cart set up just steps from my office!

I ordered my usual favorite: lamb and chicken over rice with hot and white sauce. Not quite as good as what's in New York--lamb is a bit chunky and heavily fried, and rice and chicken aren't quite as flavorful. I also wish the hot sauce had more chilli in it. But overall, I'm still pretty pleased to have somethingly vaguely reminiscent of the halal food in New York. One downside is that it's $6, which is one dollar more than NYC. But I think the extra dollar can be spared now and then. Still pleased overall.

Right across is a new taco cart... Will have to try that next.

Rays hell burger

Draft rootbeer, big poppa burger, sweet potato French fries, regular fries.

So much bleu cheese. Also included red onions, black pepper, and port- and sherry-cooked mushrooms. The result was so very rich. I did not feel very good on the halting metro back home.
